Give a sincere compliment and mention how they would do well in your business.
If someone is helping you at a store, restaurant, bank (anywhere) compliment them for something they did well (a characteristic or quality) It can be also someone you meet at a networking event:
* Responsive
* Caring
* Good with people
* Sensitive
* Helpful
* Friendly
* Great energy
* Attention to detail
* Sharp dresser
You would say something like this: "Thank you, you are a helpful person. Someone like you would do great in our company."
Or, at a networking event..."Nice to have met you. You know someone with your energy would do well in our business"
Stop talking at that point. Do NOT say anything else. They will be curious and want to learn more so let Them ask YOU..."Really, where do you work, what type of business?"
...Once they ask means they may be open to change and new opportunities.
* Set a meeting...you control when and where to meet. Be cautious attempting to have a business conversation at an inappropriate location with distractions. And, if you do not have supporting material with you or your iPad/Laptop.
Other ways to begin that conversation would be:
Thank you, you have great attention to details...
Thank you, you have great positive energy...
Nice suit/outfit...you must have good attention to details...a person like you would do great in our company.
Again, you can use this anywhere you meet people...at a party, event, computer store, retail store, auto repair, car dealership, etc.
...easy to use and can work magically.
Keep in mind it has to be a sincere compliment. Have good intentions...people will sense your intentions.
“Hi Mike.... I used the " people with your great personality and people skills do great with my firm"..... got the name, number and email”

Recruiting Tip Two:
Find their job pain and pleasure
Find their job pain and pleasure
Have conversations that can lead to recruiting or new client.
Ask:
"Where do you work (what do you do there)?"
...Is it a good company to work for?
...do they have benefits like; medical and retirement plans?
What do you like about the company and what you do?
What don't you like, or what frustrates you?
Now you have business likes and dislikes so you can prescribe your solution (opportunity) and how it is in alignment with their likes and can take care of their dislikes.
You can now ask..."our company is expanding and we have three openings. We have (their likes) and you would not have to (their dislikes). Are you open to change and opportunity?
