2009 Silicon Valley
Youth Success & Leadership Conference
Santa Clara Convention Center

Why a Success and Leadership Conference with a focus on Latino youths?
The high school and college dropout rate among Latinos in the United States is staggering. Nationally 21 percent drop out of high school and over 50 percent drop out of college.
The economy has created enormous amount of stress on many Latino families. The Latino community is in need and hungry for inspiration and lessons on what it takes to be successful.
The event will help individuals of all ages. The adults will learn valuable personal and business lessons and be encouraged to help their children succeed and stay in school. Young adults will learn what it takes to succeed, the importance of a good education, mentoring, and the many resources available.

First of all, I would like to Thank You Mike for organizing the conference and allowing my son and I to attend.
My son sees many Mexican children go into Gangs at his Middle School. I am constantly afraid he will be drawn into the Gangs and it is for that reason (as a concerned mother of a teenager) I am always looking for role models for my son to follow.
Your presenters were such what I want my son to see as role models. The presenters at the Latino Youth Success & Leadership Conference are great role models. My son specially liked Daniel Gutierrez presentation but all the presenters provided my son with inspiring words of wisdom.
Thank you for organizing it. Please thank all the presenters for sharing their experiences with my son.
Please keep me informed of any future Conferences. I want to continue to take my son to such Conferences and hopefully that will help to keep him away from Gangs.
Thanks,
Leticia Rocha
